Award Recognizes Employer Support of Guard and Reservists
Las Vegas, NV – Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto and her Office received the 2013 “Above and Beyond Award” from the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) during a ceremony held in Las Vegas at the Army National Guard North Las Vegas Readiness Center.
“We are honored to have received this award and thankful for the work our Guard and Reserve staff provide to the State of Nevada,” said Masto.
The “Above and Beyond Award”, which was presented on May 14, recognizes Nevada employers who have gone above and beyond the requirements of Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA) in supporting members of the National Guard and Reserve. The Office of the Nevada Attorney General was also recognized for being nominated to receive the 2014 Secretary of Defense Freedom Award.
