WHAT: The Nevada Attorney General’s office will begin
hosting a series of live web chats in November. These events, an initiative of
Home Again: Nevada Homeowner Relief
Program, will give Nevadans the opportunity to ask housing counselors about
first-time home ownership, credit restoration, loan modification, eligibility
for down-payment assistance and other free resources available to all Nevadans.
Housing counselors from The Financial Guidance Center, a HUD-approved agency,
will be addressing all the questions that come through the live web chat.
Interested parties can access the live web chat feature by going to the Home
Again website: www.homeagainnevada.gov
and clicking on the Web Chat button, located on the bottom right side of the
home page.
Since Home Again’s program launch in 2013, more than 15,000 Nevadans have
contacted Home Again for access to free housing and consumer protection
resources. Home Again is a one-stop, no-fee public service designed to provide
assistance to consumers interested in purchasing their first-time home, working
towards credit restoration or seeking loan modification.
