Carson City, NV – Today, Nevada Attorney General Adam Paul Laxalt issued the following statement after the death of John Carpenter:
“With the passing of longtime Assemblyman John Carpenter, Nevada lost a true public servant in every sense of the word,” said Laxalt. “Whether he was serving in Elko’s county commission or in the Nevada Legislature, John consistently gave his all to the people of Nevada. I know the residents of Elko will forever be touched by all of the wonderful contributions he made to the community, and I extend my deepest condolences to his family and loved ones in this difficult time.”
