Nevada Attorney General Laxalt Announces Press Conferences for Launch of Enhanced Victim Notification Network

Nevada is first state to launch updated version of VINE

    WHO:

    Attorney General Adam Paul Laxalt, VINE Appriss Safety President Josh Bruner, law enforcement officials and victim advocates.

      WHAT:

      The press conference will unveil the newest features and benefits of VINE (Victim Information and Notification Everyday), a victim notification network developed by Appriss Safety to provide victims of crime with a free service. VINE provides victims of crime and concerned citizens with access to timely and reliable offender custody information through a toll-free number, website or use of a mobile application.

        WHERE:

        Two press conferences will be held to accommodate attendees and media in the North and South. The press conference in Las Vegas will take place on the first floor foyer of the Grant Sawyer State Office Building at 555 E. Washington Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89101.The Carson City press conference will take place on the second floor Mock Courtroom of the Attorney General’s Office at 100 N. Carson Street, Carson City, NV 89701. Space is limited.

          WHEN:

          The Las Vegas press conference will begin on Monday, July 10 at 10:30 a.m., and the Carson City press conference will begin on Tuesday, July 11 at 1:30 p.m. Both events are open to the media.

            NOTES:

            Please note that AG Laxalt and VINE Appriss Safety President Josh Bruner will speak at both events. Other press conference speakers in the North and South will differ.
