Attorney General Ford, Raiders Running Back Josh Jacobs Partner to Promote National Child Identification Program

    WHO:  Nevada Attorney General Aaron D. Ford, Oakland Raiders Running Back Josh Jacobs, National Child ID Program Executive Director Kenny Hansmire, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, and State, county and city dignitaries.

      WHAT:   The Office of the Nevada Attorney General and Raiders Running Back Josh Jacobs are partnering together to provide kindergarten students in Nevada with a free Child ID Kit. In 1997, the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) created the National Child Identification Program with the goal of fingerprinting 20 million children. The Child ID Kit includes an inkless fingerprint card and DNA collection area. It will allow parents and guardians to easily record pertinent personal information about their child. The kit is stored at home in a safe place and would be handed over and used by law enforcement authorities in the case of a missing child or emergency.

        WHERE:   The press conference will be held in Las Vegas on the first floor of the Grant Sawyer State Office Building at 555 E. Washington Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89101.

          WHEN:  The press conference will begin on Tuesday, October 29th at 11:00 a.m.
