Attorney General Ford Appointed to Executive Committee of National Association of Attorneys General

Carson City, NV - Nevada Attorney General Aaron D. Ford proudly announced his appointment to the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) Executive Committee by President Tim Fox. Appointed to this rule during NAAG's Capital Forum this week, Montana AG Fox has selected "Transformational Leadership and Civility" as his presidential initiative. In his role as a member of the Executive Committee, AG Ford is charged with the leadership of Association operations.

"Every day, my colleagues and their staff are working to improve their communities by protecting consumers, prioritizing public safety and empowering victims of crime," said AG Ford.   "Communication and collaboration is critical to achieve these common goals, and I'm grateful to AG Fox for selecting me to serve in this leadership role."

NAAG was founded in 1907 to help attorneys general fulfill the responsibilities of their office. Serving as the national forum for attorneys general and their staff to collaboratively and effectively address issues important to their work, NAAG provides resources and support to state and territorial offices of attorneys general with a focus on protecting the Rule of Law and the United States Constitution.
