Online Sales
If you sell
cigarettes, vapor products, alternative nicotine products, or products
containing nicotine or tobacco through a computer, telephonic, or other
electronic network, to an ultimate consumer in Nevada, you must ensure the
packaging or wrapping of these products is properly labeled and you must obtain
the full name, date of birth, and residential address of the purchaser. You must also perform an age verification
through a third-party age verification service to ensure the consumer is over
21.
You are required to
file an annual certification with our Office, using the form provided below, confirming
use of a third-party age verification service.
This must be submitted before sales are made to consumers in Nevada, and
annually no later than January 1 each year thereafter.
