Nevada Do Not Call Registry

Do Not Call Registry

Nevada has adopted the Nevada portion of the National Do Not Call Registry for Nevada's Telecommunication Solicitation Act.  Nevada law prohibits non-exempt telemarketers from calling Nevada consumers on the Nevada portion of the National Do Not Call Registry.  However, the Act still permits calls from political, religious, or tax-exempt charitable organizations and calls from telemarketers that have preexisting business relationships with some additional restrictions.  See NRS 228.530, 228.590, and 228.600 for more information.

If you have already registered your residential or cellular telephone on the National Do Not Call Registry, you are already protected.  If you have not already registered, or verify that your number is on the Federal Do Not Call List, you may do so at any time, free of charge, by dialing toll free 888-382-1222, or online at www.donotcall.gov.

If you would like to file a complaint against a business you believe has violated the Do Not Call law, the telephone number and website are the same at, toll free 888-382-1222 or online at www.donotcall.gov.
