Attorney General Seeks New Members for Advisory Commission on the Administration of Justice Victims of Crime Sub-Committee

Carson City, NV – Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto announced the Advisory Commission on Administration of Justice, Victims of Crime Sub-Committee (Sub-Committee), is seeking new members for 2014.

    “I encourage talented individuals who are passionate about advocating for Nevada’s victims of crime to apply,” said Masto. “We would like to have a diverse representation of backgrounds and disciplines from all over the State.”

      The application is brief and submissions will be accepted Jan. 15, 2014 through Jan. 31, 2014. The Sub-Committee is looking for approximately 12 members, who will serve a one year term.

        The Sub-Committee, chaired by AG Masto, will meet quarterly in either Carson City or Las Vegas during 2014, with the first meeting to be held in Feb. Recommendations from the Sub-Committee members will inform the Advisory Commission on the Administration of Justice for the 2015 Legislative Session.
