Attorney General Aaron Ford Announces Two Week Deadline Extension for Grant Opportunities

Carson City, NV - Today, Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford announced two week deadline extensions for the grant opportunities his office is administering.

On March 2, 2020, the Office of the Nevada Attorney General released of the Services-Training-Officers-Prosecutor (STOP) and Sexual Assault Services Program (SASP) grant opportunities noting a deadline of April 13, 2020. The deadline to respond to this opportunity is extended to April 27, 2020.
 
On March 6, 2020, the Office of the Nevada Attorney General released the Overdose Detection and Mapping Application Program (ODMAP) Statewide Expansion and Response Grant opportunity noting a deadline of April 3, 2020. The deadline to respond to this opportunity is extended to April 17, 2020.
  
"I commend service providers across the State for taking swift action to address this pandemic," said AG Ford. "As agencies take responsible steps to take care of our communities, there may be delays with submitting applications. My office is extending these deadlines so agencies and community organizations can take advantage of these important funding opportunities."
