– Today, Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford announced that John Sadler will
serve as the new Communications Director for the Office of the Attorney
General.
Sadler,
who most recently served as the political correspondent for the Las Vegas Sun,
will take over the position effective immediately.
“I
am pleased to welcome John to the AG Family, and confident he will be an
exceptional addition to our team,” said AG Ford. “His experience
covering the Silver State makes him a valuable asset to our practice of
communicating with the public accurately and reliably.”
Born
and raised in Louisiana, Sadler received bachelor’s degrees in journalism and
English from Louisiana Tech University and a master’s degree in journalism from
the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Before
he was hired by the Las Vegas Sun in 2019, Sadler covered city and county
government in Wisconsin.
“I
have loved my time in Nevada, and I am excited to have the opportunity to
highlight the important work being done in the Office of the Attorney General,”
said Sadler. “I am looking forward to serving the public in this new
role.”
